Hemoglobin analyser HemoCue Hb 201 Plus allows to carry out diagnostics at the point and the time of treatment.

Compact, accurate, convenient and light hemoglobin analyser HemoCue Hb 201+ provides results of laboratory accuracy. The analyser is well-recognised all over the world owing to its usability, laboratory accuracy, quick results and a small amount of blood necessary for tests.

Specially designed microcuvettes are used for HemoCue Hb 201+.

3 easy test steps:

1. Take a blood sample.

2. Fill the cuvette. It will be filled with blood instantly by capillary forces as soon as the tip of

the cuvette touches a blood drop.

3. Put the filled cuvette into the cuvette holder and start the test.

The result will appear on the screen in several minutes and will be laboratory precise.

Minimal maintenance effort and usability.

After a short training course even personnel not working in laboratories will be able to carry out

tests safely and accurately.

Analyser calibration will be done by a producer and automatic calibration will be done every

switching on. Exactly due to this function there is no need of using a control cuvette.

Ultimate test accuracy

Numerous studies have revealed an excellent test comparability with different laboratory

systems. As all microcuvettes accord with each other, there is no necessity of repeated

calibration or device regulation. In addition, due to double wave-length measurement, the system

compensates deviations, caused by sample turbidity (high WBC and lipids), automatically.

A photometer:

- Double wave-length measurement

- 570 nm for a haemoglobin test and 880 nm at turbidity compensation

Samples:

- 10 mkl of capillary, arterial or venous blood

Results:

- In 15-60 sec depending on hemoglobin concentration

Measurement range:

- Hemoglobin 0-256 g/L (0-25.6 g/dL, 0-15.9 mmol/L)

Data storage option.

The analyser is equipped with in-built memory, capable of storing 600 results with exact time and date of the test taken. Later the results can be transferred to a PC and printed out.
