HemoCue Glucose 201 Plus specification

Analyser.

Double wave-length measurement (660 and 840 nm) prevents test inaccuracy because of blood turbidity. The device keeps in memory up to 600 results with time and date of the tests.

Sample materials.

5 mkl of capillary, arterial or venous blood.

Method.

The system is intended for measuring the quantity of glucose in whole blood. This system consists of the analyser and HemoCue Glucose 201+ microcuvettes with dry reagents. The analyser is calibrated by its producer in concordance with glucose-dehydrogenating method with hemolyzation and sedimentaries.

Results.

The results will appear on the screen in 1-5 min depending on glucose concentration.

Measurement range.

0-22,2 mmol/L (0-400 mg/dL)

The range can be extended up to 44,4 mmol/L (800 mg/dL) in case of sample dilution.

Quality control:

Analysers are equipped with an in-built electric system of self control. On each switching on of the photometer the system checks optical instrument functioning automatically. If the optical devise is on constantly, the inspection is done every two hours.
